The Jamaican-style wedding cake is sometimes affectionately referred to as Jamaican Rum Wedding Cake. The traditional Jamaican Rum Cake/Fruit Cake is the foundation of all Jamaican wedding cakes. Once baked and cooled, we dress the cake with a thick fondant icing, layered over a marzipan paste. We then style the confection to meet the couple’s wedding theme and color scheme. The intricacy of the cake will depend on the couple and the level of artistry desired. The rum cake base is just as fruitful and decadent as the beautiful marriage about to be celebrated!
